Date: 2014-07-20 04:15 am (UTC)How could his father have liked this guy? It was always Steve Rogers this and Steve Rogers that. Tony had a Captain America teddy bear, true story. There were pictures of him dragging the thing around when he was two. He watched Steve go with a smirk only to sigh in the mirror a few moments later when he saw the mess his scalp was still in.
Tony didn't leave New York right away as evidenced by his arrival at Central Park with Bruce in tow to see the Asgardians off. He watched Steve as the vampire stood back by the trees in the shade. Well. All right. He stared. Sure, the tesseract was pretty amazing too but... But he couldn't help himself.
