"Yeah, I was," he agreed, Tony was distracting him a little but that was probably a good thing. He just smelled so good. It was fading a little as he healed the scabs over but up close, he was still alluring.

"Back then, well, it was harder," he muttered. "I was turned in 1918 that's why SHIELD uses it for my birthday. I was twenty-five then, so it wasn't too far off. I was sick enough I could pass for younger. A lot younger."

He might suck a little at one of the wounds before he licks it over this time. Oops. "Before that, mostly animals. Butchers, especially, sold pig's blood for any number of ethnic dishes. Then there was Bucky and the war. Plenty of fresh dead bodies. Now, SHIELD knows, so I get packets out of the blood bank."

Steve made a face, "The fresher the better though, honestly. I need it less often if it's fresh."
