At least it was better than leading on a dangerous vampire. Steve wasn't going to hurt him if he could help it. There were enough dangerous things threatening them in the world without him adding to them.

Steve was fairly certain that he was attracted to personalities more than he cared about pieces. It wasn't something that came up very often. He tried to avoid getting too close to people. They tended to ask questions or freak out about him not breathing in his sleep. Bucky was the only one that knew.

"I think I'll be fine," he scoffed. Steve eyed the room they were walking through and frowned. "I thought you were showing me to a bathroom."
