The scientist smirked. "I told I'd be right back," he told Tony as if he was dealing with an impatient toddler and then he thanked Steve for humoring Tony.

Tony didn't look at the blond during the rest of the session as the doctor tugged out each sliver and immediately pressed a sterile pad down against the cuts to stem the flow of bleeding.

Tony had no way of knowing that Steve's saliva had ended up healing him and if Bruce noticed (and he did since there should be more angry marks on Tony to match the glass in the dish), he said nothing.

At least it made his erection go away to have the doctor working on him.
